Once you've triedit out, you'll be making a few more pilgrimages to the Mecca Bar. Right in the hesrt of HCMC, you are guaranteed a good right out here. The bar, with its understated but impressive décor, has a great range of cocktails, including Grasshopper (crème de menthe, crème de cacao, light cream, VND 60,000). cold beers (VND 30,000 - 60,000) including Heineken nad Fosters, plus good quality wines and spirits are also served, but you can always pop in for teas and coffees, including Cappuccino (VND 40,000).

With an elaborate and moden sound system, Mecca's experienced DJ's can help you unwind after a hard day with a variety of music such as trance, progressive, hip hop, house, underground and dance. Asian dishes are also available here: enjoy grilled chicken wings roasted with tamarind (VND 45,000 for 1-2 people), spicy fried beef with chilli (VND 42,000), Singaporean-style fried noodles, seafood fried rice (both VND 40,000), or shrimps roasted with garlic (VND 60,000). There go down well with a bottle of French or American wines (around VND 300,000 -350,000/bottle).
