Located on the first floor of HCMC's prestigious New World
Hotel Saigon, the Parkview Restaurant offers a cheery and casual
dining atmosphere. Looking out onto a tranquil, leafy park, the
180-seat restaurant in the heart of the city offers all-day dining
from aerly till late. The extensive a la carte menu's are
complimented by lavish buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
With Chefs George Ghamarian and Ly Ngoc Chi capably at the helm,
the Parkview is fast gaining a great reputation for its Western
and Asian buffets (around 50 dishes).
Lunch and dinner buffets
are perfect for amore informal dining approach to business
meetings or get-togethers with friends. The daily lunch buffet
(11am to 2.50pm) boasts three choices: Sweet Buffet (VND
88,000++), with a selection of homemade breads and cakes; Tuscany
Buffet (VND 108,000++), a must for Italian food lovers with its
colorful, tempting array; and the Meat Buffet (VND 168,000++). The
latter overflows with Western and Asian specialties: help yourself
to crisp vegetable salads, tasty Japanese sushi, premier smoked
salmon and fresh seafood, fried noodles or rice with seafood and
vegetables, chicken or beef curry, rounded off with Parkview's
special homemade ice-creams. Menu's are changed about every three
weeks giving the opportunity to sample a variety of cuisine
specialties from around the world. At this rate, with all you can
eat on offer, you may be requiring the use of the hotel's Fitness
Centre. Sunday Brunch in HCMC is almost an institution: a time
to kick back and make the most of the weekend with family, friends
and beloved ones. And there's no better place than the Parkview.
On Sundays, it's very much a family affair with their Sunday
Brunch Sensation (11am - 5pm). Indulge yourself with a
mouth-watering selection, featuring oysters on the half shell,
grilled tiger prawns, chilled seafood selection, baked Norwegian
salmon, US prime rib of beef, fresh Italian pasta and gourmet
cheeses. For only VND 228,000++ per person, enjoy notonly
delicious, fresh foods from around the world, but a special family
atmosphere. Adults can unwind to the sounds of jazz (with
free-flowing sparkling wine thrown in), while the kids are kept
entertained with a circus performer. |
